Yes! The initial intake assessment ($500) is performed by a board certified child & adolescent psychiatrist, who will complete a comprehensive assessment of the child's history, family history, and use validated screening tools to identify potential diagnoses. Determining the final diagnosis may take more than the initial session depending on the additional information that may be needed (ie: to diagnose ADHD, a teacher report is needed), but generally by the end of our 75-min intake, we have a strong initial impression of what the diagnosis is likely to be.
Follow up sessions can be scheduled directly through your psychiatrist at your initial intake and we offer a monthly subscription that discounts the regular single session cost.
